Taught by experienced Nanogirl Science Communicators, Nanogirl’s Teacher Professional Learning Development workshops are practical and interactive sessions that come with printable curriculum packs to refer to when back in the classroom.
During this one hour session, you'll be give fun and practical tools to encourage your students to pursue Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics pathways - exploring career opportunities and developing science knowledge about manufacturing, recycling and sustainability.
You’ll learn how to guide children through some simple and fun science experiments that use only cheap and easy to find ingredients, to help you to keep your consumables costs low, and your students to realise that science is everywhere!
These hands on workshops are carried out in your school and we are flexible around timing to help fit around your teachers’ busy schedules.
The top three participating schools will receive a Nanogirl Live Show
Live science edu-tainment, designed for diverse audiences.
A fun, engaging narrative and incredible feats of science and engineering make Nanogirl Live! a hit with audiences worldwide. The story in each script supports audience engagement, and retention of the science principles communicated.
